ABOUT ME

I am Dorottya Dezséry-Szük, an English-Spanish translator. I look forward to hearing from you regarding requests for proposals related to professional and literary translation, proofreading, editing and creative writing.

My translation activity has always been fueled by my passion for literature and travel, the desire to learn about different cultures. Since obtaining my master’s degree in English and Spanish, I have worked in Spain and Indonesia for several years and spent many short periods of time in English speaking regions. I have been involved in technical translation since my university years, I participated in university translation technology and technical translation seminars, a Latin American technical translation program, and later obtained a diploma in social science and economic translation. I published articles for several Hungarian magazines on the topic of travel and tourism, which I also connected with my photography. See my photos here:

In all activities related to writing and translation, I enjoy in-depth, independent, creative work the most, I like to research and gain additional knowledge in an exciting and significant field for me.
